sz.ws is run by one person. There are no ads, no tracking cookies, and your data is never sold to anyone.
sz.ws is run by Suko, an independent developer based in Taiwan. Questions go to su@okuso.uk.
Browsing the catalogue needs no account. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, and the only things kept in your browser are the language you picked and whether you want light or dark. Once you create an Access account, this is what is stored:
Every handle has a page at sz.ws/@handle showing the handle, picture, display name, bio, verification mark, and the month you joined. Search engines can index it. Your email, signed-in devices, passkeys, and connected services are not public; only you see them, and only after signing in.
Products under sz.ws share the sign-in, so once you are signed in they can read your account id, email, handle, and picture.
Apps on other domains get nothing unless you allow it on a consent screen that names the app and the scopes it is asking for. Anything you have allowed can be revoked from your account page.
None of this is sold or rented, and there is no advertising on sz.ws.
Payments are handled by a third-party payment provider acting as the merchant of record. Its name appears at checkout and on your receipt. Card details and billing addresses are entered on the provider's page and never reach sz.ws.
To open a checkout, sz.ws sends the provider the product you chose, the email you entered, the language you were reading in, your IP address so it can work out tax and currency, and the link or campaign that brought you, if there was one. sz.ws does not keep that email. If you are signed in to Access, your account email and account id are sent instead, so everything bought with one account stays together.
After payment, the provider tells sz.ws about the order: the product, the amount, and your email. Order history and receipts stay with the provider, in its customer portal. sz.ws keeps no copy, and passes an order on only to the product it belongs to, when that product needs it, for example to unlock something in your account.
For an hour after payment, the confirmation page reads your licence key from the provider and shows it to you. sz.ws does not keep a copy.
The provider handles your payment details under its own privacy policy.
The account page has a delete option. It sends a confirmation link to your email; using it removes your profile, picture, passkeys, signed-in devices, and every authorisation record.
A deleted handle is not reissued, so an old link never points at someone else.
Order records stay with the payment provider, which keeps them for tax purposes.
