These terms apply when you use sz.ws, create an Access account, or buy one of its products.
sz.ws is an independent software studio run by Suko in Taiwan. It makes and sells digital software and online services, such as Boppo for macOS. Support is by email at su@okuso.uk.
Everything sold on sz.ws is digital: apps, licence keys, and access to online services. Nothing is shipped.
Each product's page shows its price and what it includes, and what you buy is what that page says at the time of purchase. Any sales tax or VAT for your country is added at checkout, before you pay.
Payments are handled by a third-party payment provider acting as the merchant of record. It takes the payment, collects any sales tax or VAT, and sends your receipt. Its name appears at checkout and on the receipt, and its own terms apply to the payment itself.
Right after payment, you receive by email what the product needs: a download link, a licence key, or access to the service. If nothing arrives, check your spam folder, then write to su@okuso.uk.
A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time from the link in your receipt or by writing to su@okuso.uk, and you keep access until the end of the period already paid for.
If a subscription's price changes, you are told by email before the next renewal, in time to cancel before the new price applies.
Within 14 days of purchase, you can ask for a full refund by writing to su@okuso.uk. The money goes back to your original payment method through the payment provider, and the licence or access that came with the purchase ends.
Any rights you have under the consumer law of your country still apply.
A licence belongs to the person who bought it and covers the number of devices the product's page states. It is not to be resold or shared beyond that.
An Access account is free. Holding one comes with a few conditions:
Read it, link to it, quote it. Do not scrape at a rate that costs anyone anything, probe endpoints, or try to reach data you were not given. A 429 means stop.
Products under sz.ws share the Access account directly. Any other app needs your approval before it can read anything through OpenID Connect. What an app does with what it receives is between you and that app. Access can be revoked at any time, but data already handed over cannot be pulled back.
The website and Access accounts are free and provided as they are. Paid products are provided as described on their pages. Everything is kept running as well as it can be, with no guarantee of uptime and no guarantee that a product fits a particular need. Products can change or close, and the ones that have closed are listed at /sunset. If a subscription product closes, the unused days of the current period are refunded.
To the extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of this site, your account, or its products, and any other liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question.
